Ah it appears that nacho is a nickname...
Also, according to Wikipedia...
Ignacio "Nacho" Martín Scocco is an Argentine international football player who plays as a forward for Internacional. Scocco can play on both wings, but prefers to play on the left. He can also play as an attacking midfielder and often as striker
It looks like dorito can play anywhere across the front line but mostly as a striker. He has scored 4 goals in 21 appearances so far in the Brazilian PL - but the season before he netted 30 goals in 46 appearances in the Argentinian league.
Any striker would be frankly welcomed at this point.

at least i know that you buy a centre forward to score goals and not to sit on his ass and draw his salary after he has spent his £1,500,000 signing on fee

Depends how modernistic Solskjaer plays his football Dave. Look at Arsenal, Giroud is more renowned for his link play than his goal scoring feats. Particularly in a 4-5-1 the striker can be marked out of play if he's the reliable goal scorer, but if any one of your attacking players can score than the centre backs don't know what the hell to do with themselves.

He's unlikely to get a work permit. Needs to have played 75% of Argentina's fixtures over the last two years to be eligible. He's played just one!

That might be why Sunderland lost interest, but you would expect clubs to be aware of that. At the end of the day, this is probably just another groundless rumour........

He has Italian ancestry so is classed as an EU citizen, therefore no work permit required.
