Given that our Orange router is about to give up the ghost and leave us without internet, I'd better get this thread up in plenty of time.....
Whatever team he puts out, OGS will be looking for a performance that will raise confidence levels. There are too many stories around today which already have City doomed to relegation. Everyone needs to see more positive press and that means wins and draws, not gallant losses......
Key players are going to be rested, but this will be an opportunity to have a look at others......
I would send out this lot......
Subs....Keeper, Lappin, Mutch, Dhaeli, Noone, Campbell, Mason

After being withdrawn at half time tonight, I think Arthur might start.

Looks like Cornelius might be crocked again and I had forgotten about Odemthingy, so probably a straight swap in my team.
I think Arthur will probably start on the bench, but either way, will do a 45 minute shift with Bellamy.

McNaughton has already appeared for Bolton in the cup, has he not? Therefore he's cup tied and can't play.
Id go for Stewella setup and formation, but with Lewis and Brayford for Marshall and Mcnaughton.

I was tempted to change the goalkeeper, but I felt the partnership of Marshall, Caulker, and Hudson needed to develop a bit.
Plus, I'm not all that sure about Lewis. If I was going to rest Marshall, I'd have to give some thought to whether I played Lewis or Moore. I think Moore is seen as the long term backup to Marshall, so why not give him a go?

Match Day!!!
This is a game that I am sure OGS would like to win to give the club a lift generally. Given the squad that appears to be being assembled, he might also fancy a longer cup run to maintain fitness levels.
Slight revision to my earlier team, given that Cornelius is probably not fit...
Lewis
McNaughton Hudson Turner John
Gunnarsson Whitts
Conway Eikram Kim
Campbell
Subs....Keeper, Lappin, Mutch, Dhaeli, Noone, Berget, Mason
Comfortable 2 - 0 win for City.............

I can see starts for Eikrem and Daehli along with Cornelius (if fit). Berget will be a late sub. Should be an attacking game with plenty of goals and a City win
