Hardly surprising, you can't spend 100 million pounds and then lose 5-0 at home, can you?
It's a shame, I was one of the ones that thought he really could make something happen given the time. He wasn't given it at Chelsea, but even with seemingly unlimited funds and a whole new squad, he still couldn't make the team threatening.
Forgot to mention - photos we're taken of Fabio Capello at white hart lane yeaterday. Surely they weren't planning his replacement before the match even started?

Not sure who else though...Malky?
I have followed Spurs for 40 years as my "number 2" team, but never felt AVB was any right for Spurs than he was for Chelsea.
Who next....my guess and choice would be Michael Laudrup......

Hasn't Laudrup lost some of his shine though? Les Swansea to their first cup in a long time yes, but this year Bony has turned out to be a dud and he's been incapable of returning Michu to his former form. They are leaking goals like crazy, they aren't creating enough chances, and despite a strong start they only got through the Europa by the skin of their teeth.
Capello isn't as bad a manager as people make out. He was a victim of the high hopes of English fans, and the fact he we was given unrealistic expectations with a team that weren't good enough was forgotten.

Agreed....but from Hoddles point of view....Spurs now or wait for Cardiff....afraid we'll be a poor second......maybe we'll get Klinsmann instead.....
