So how many people are planning to go to the Newcastle Friendly?
£20 a ticket, imo, is quiet steep. I'l probably go and take the lad!

Re: the Newcastle game - I will most definitely be going, as an exile I actually enjoy the big home pre-season friendly, good opportunity to see our ever evolving team in action. I would imagine that Malky will want to put out his strongest team for the game to test the quality of his squad against what is a very good newcastle squad!

mmmmhhh...I'm not sure yet...I might go down - it all depends on the next 4-5 weeks! I'm just hoping that we buy someone soon!!!

Attendance, I'm going to guess, will be around 12-14'000 hopefully. Should be interesting, if only to see how the team is developing.

Gonna be lucky to get that I reckon....I'm hoping by then that Malky will bring in a bit of quality and it will be interesting to seem them play...I'm not sure how many people have the dosh at the moment though.....

I think 14,000 is optimistic. I went to the Celtic game last season (and we had a completely different squad then) the attendence was around 12,000ish I believe... though I can't properly remember.

I'll be there but I really think the club are being a bit greedy. £10 maximum IMO.

I love to see the new players in the friendlies, and there could be quite a few to see this year. I just hope that Newcastle put out a team that will allow us to assess ours.
