The whole Velcro situation is bizarre. I wonder if we might see a repeat with Brayford......Velcro Digging His Own Grave... 3392635135

To be fair i think he is right. Given squad number 27 he, along with Kiss, were not even listed in the programme squad list for the Man City game.

There is obviously no chance of him getting into the 25 man squad and it is unfair on him i think to be expected to spend another season playing in the development squad.

I am sure the club would like to get something back for him in terms of a fee but his wages (though comparitively low) are dead money as far as i can see and it would only benefit both the club and the player for him to start again elsewhere.

Although, going to the press about it is not the right thing to do and might be the reason why he finds himself in this pickle in the first place.

Yes his earlier comments might have caused a problem for himself but he is obviously not going to feature in Malky's plans now so i reckon there is little to lose for him by speaking out about wanting to leave and little to be gained by the club in trying to hold onto him.

I hope this is resolved soon for the benefit of all concerned.

If Velcro is out in the cold on principle because he upset Malky, then this is a truly bizarre situation.

Tan has presumably shelled out the 2m Euros for the transfer, but is then happy for Velcro not to be used at all on a whim of his manager........Velcro Digging His Own Grave... 3392635135

I backed Velcro for most of last season because he was knocking in goals at development squad level but seeing him that end of season development squad final against Charlton he looked awful. Ok that was one game but it may just be that, whatever the intial reason for him being frozen out was, he is simply not showing enough in his all round game and attitude to convince Malky to bring him back into the fold again.
