Leeds- besides us being better,why do they hate us?

Hi guys! Loving the new forum!!nice to see that some of us are getting on with the important thing and getting on with being city fans!!!I'm in Leeds ATM on a training course and went for a pint in a sports bar on the night of the England game, it just so happened I had my white away shirt on at the time (mistake I know) and I received genuine aggression and animosity for being a city fan! I know we regularly outplay them and we beat them back at the turn of the century(before my time) but is there any other reason for it?

To be honest...I've never liked the Leeds fans....just proper nasty. Whatever you think about Dave Jones as a manager, and I think he gave us some of our best years to date, what the scummy leeds would chant at him at Ninian was out of order...do you remember the post match interview (I can't actually remember who they were playing) but Dave was visibly upset and angered about it.

We always seem to do them over too!

I remember plymoth argyle were once a big bogey team for us...no matter how crap they were/are...they always seemed to do us over...did my nut in..
