Had a phone call from estate agents, paper work for new house approved, Moving date 14th August, I will be a barry resident, 
may not b news for u lot but last house we looked at and liked deal fell through

The only places I know in Barry are the chemical works by the Waitrose and the one way street in the town centre by the train station

Yes, but a glorious Bladerunner-esque sight that towers over the Eastern part of Barry that is. You get a wonderful view of it from my Dad's place
