How is everyone feeling about Sam potentially returning on the board? For me I have to ask why isit necessary? surely pay the bloke and he can f**k off! I wont be happy But will still support the team! I will never forget black Friday and how he nearly ruined us I am dreading the "inner circle" clinging on and arse licking him its cringeworthy

Tipping point for me personally. I've mentioned feeling insulted by Tan in the past, if he invited Sam back onto the board then ill happily join any campaign that wants both Sam AND Tan kicked out. Simply thinking about the possibility that Tan has the nerve to invite someone that nearly killed our club back onto the board just to save a few quid makes my blood boil.
Before I get lynched however, I also consider it highly unlikely to happen. Tans too smart a man to make such a stupid decision surely.

I keep saying this, but it seems obvious that the most logical and cost effective way for Tan to sort out the Sam issue is to offer him an equity stake in the club in lieu of an immediate cash settlement.
Sam hasn't had control of the Langstone money anyway since the loan notes were issued, so the option of keeping the cash invested in the club that is finally going places may represent an attractive potential return.
I really hopes that VT just pays him off and there is a clean break, but with talk of Sam hanging around the boardroom, then what I say above does seem feasible.

For all Sam's many faults, he did do a job for us when we were languishing at the bottom of the old division 4, and got us up to the Championship.
This doesn't excuse the bad points, and I would prefer to see the back of him. But if Tan judges that it's best for the club to have him in in some capacity as a means of settling the Langston debt, I'd go along with it.

I don't care as long as langstone is gone. If that means we have to out up with a moronic clown sitting in the directors box then so be it

No jokes about Tan being a moronic clown or whether I have been invited to sit in the directors box next year!
