Anyone else think the cardiff/swansea derby is..

being hyped too much already? by media, poundits etc, I feel the outside world looking in may be dissapointed, ill be glad to be proved wrong

I'm never disappointed with the welsh derby - the last mini series of them were all awesome - it should be even better now we are in the PL. Can't wait to be fair.

Sky always goes for the local derbies and hypes them up ad nauseum, presumably hoping for live controversy / blood and guts. From a neutral point of view, they mostly disappoint. I always find the hype surrounding our games with Swansea a big distraction, so I never look forward to them. I think this season it will be worse than previously.

Saying that, it is nice when we win

I think if both clubs are looking comfortably mid table, then they could be cracking games. However, If we are going to be looking at a struggle / mega-fail season, then I think the enthusiasm will have waned.
