IS that he's just going to sit there an quite happily be lauded by the media for his "wonderful" job of turning a reletively mid-table Championship side, into a Premier League side. In essence all the man has done is inherit a very good and capable side from Freedman, who would no doubt have had them in the same position if he had stayed put. About the only thing that Holloway has done was to rely on his old friend Mr Phillips to sneak him a goal here and there.
On the other hand, Freedman has done a brilliant job at Bolton, and I see them winning the league next year.

the river frome runs through bristol and joins the avon by the docks.
south of the river are bristol city fc hereinafter refered to as the robins or wurzels!
north of the river are bristol rovers affectionately known as the pirates or gasheads. their old ground at eastville had a couple of large gas tanks.
ian holloway was a former player and then manager of bristol rovers

Ian Holloway has always been an obnoxious, odious little man, but some of the things he comes out are quite amusing.
