Going to France in the car/on the ferry, 17th August. Or rather my missus, her kid and her parents are going to France on 17th August and I'm going after our first game in the Prem, whenever/wherever that may be. Stupid bint booking on that date! I've already told her what's happening anyway and she's learning to live with it.
Disneyland for 3 days for the little un, then the South (Argeles-sur-Mer, near Perpignan) for 9 days. Hoping Barca have a home game while we're there coz it's only 90 mins away!

Went to Tenerife last month and got a trip to Lopud Island in Croatia booked for October. Got a few locals arranged for the meantime including Exmoor for my birthday in July.

Mrs TDA & I stayed a couple of places down the coast from Argeles in Feb. Lovely huge beaches and sea and weather should be stonking in August. Don't forget to buy plenty of Collioure red wine.......

As mentioned above, we had a week away in Feb, but not likely to do much else this year, as I am due to have a hip replacement op.
Mrs TDA keeps reminding me that I have a "significant" birthday just after Christmas and dropping hints about going somewhere warm......

tend not to travel far as i am petrified of flying, having said that have been on several inter-continental visits and been on a couple of scary flights. our last flight "abroad" was to jersey. we have our daughter's wedding in august so will have to look and see what cash is left.
that does not mean we will go away because our cocker spaniel is deaf and has very limited eyesight. she is now 12 and came from a rescue centre and it would not be fair just to dump her in a kennel and go. maisie has displayed evidence of ill-treatment so we would have to find something very understanding before we considered going away.

Off for a super low budget trip to the Midi-Pyrenee with Mrs Arkay and the family in July. We know people who have a house there, so taking a long drive down and spending a week doing bugger all.
I really can't wait.

I'm going to Stockholm to spend time being sodomised by a Swedish businessman who has been given legal guardian status over my finances, until I finally snap and forcibly tattoo him.

Probably my last long haul holiday, I'm going camping in Botswana and making my way up to Victoria falls. There are not many things that send the adrenalin running as hearing a lion roaring it's territorial claims at night. It's very difficult to judge the distance it's coming from. Last time I heard one from about 200 yards away (I later found out) I thought it was some five yards behind me.
£150.00 for rabies shots just in case I get bitten by a bat or wild dog. Bloody rip off

On the flipside you'll be safe if you ever meet Trash in person as well
