He has over a 48% win record for us over two seasons that include last years rebuilding, that's very good. The likes of Alex Ferguson didn't have a record that good in his first two years at Man Utd...
He would certainly cement his status forever within City folklore by finishing top this year and merely surviving next season.
Regardless, he's the best City manager by a country mile in my lifetime, let's hope we don't take him for granted.

My fear is that next season, we struggle (which is what should be expected) and people call for his head!

Agreed! I actually do think we'll be fine though. His meticulous approach pays dividends along the way.

Success for me next season would be survival on goal difference. Any more would be amazing.

Yup, and people might have to get used to us playing ugly for a bit too.

However we do it, if it keeps us up, it's worth it.
Either way, the debts are gone

Yes I think he is, not only for promotion and potentially the title but for the club's turn around in ethos and professionalism.
The club are set up wonderfully for future, because he didn't look for a quick fix but instead overhauled the whole system and supported these with young players for the future and a great development/training program.
Thanks Malky
