............but, I'm still not wholly convinced by some of the selections and tactics in recent games. He sticks with what he is comfortable with and I think he was lucky in that things turned around when he started Mutch & Kimbo together.

They were not as effective as recently against a solid Charlton team last evening, so I do wonder what his "Plan B" might be......... Does this make Malky our greatest ever Manager? - Page 2 4228682415

As for a plan C, well you'll just have to wait and see.
A plan D, that's up to you and me.

I think almost all season was Plan B. I'm sure Plan A involved Maynard or Velcro as a goal scoring forward. One torn knee and one mystery flop later and Malky was forced to rethink, shutup shop and rely on set pieces.

Intelligent, pragmatic and thoughtful; believes in the most thorough preparation and has an incredible atitude towards the press, the fans and the players.

Malky Mackay is a different class and we are very lucky to have him.

At times when his pragmatism bordered on negativity this year I had considerable doubts but am eating all those doubts now.

Next year provides a new challenge for him and for all of us but do we have the right man at the helm? I can think of no one better!

Have to add my own thoughts -

I have considered myself a Malky doubter this season. He's not 100% convinced me that his tactical knowledge is good enough, as his squad choices and substitutions have definetely cost us games along the line.

Maybe it's the promotion ecstasy, but I've found myself spilling to foregone and forget, and judge him on what happens now rather then what's led to this point. I wasnt lucky enough to find him in that pitch invasion, but if I had he would of got an apologetic pat on the shoulder (he wouldn't know what it was for, but I would). I saw someone eelse point out that of the 11 that started against Charlton, only McNaughton and Marshall existed prior to Malky's arrival. Whatever way you look at it, a squad renovation of that scale to yield success in only two years is impressive.

Lets hope he's reading this. Sorry Malky.
