That Malky will start with helger today! If he does, all the confidence & optimism that i'm currently feeling will be zapped away in a moment. It reminds of the welsh league when the manager insists on sticking with a dhit 50 yr old cos he's an "old head" and "he knows the league" etc
I'll be absolutely devastated

I'm adding my concern that I can't be completely confident you are wrong.
I sense Malky seeing a draw as a good result - and everyone knows his favourite squad components when all he wants to do is not concede.

Malky's starting elevens have been more positive of late, but it is the substitutions when games are far from safe that I can't fathom.

I think he'll start with Mason, unless Campbell is fit.

According to Wales online last night, Campbell and Conoly are definetely out today, and probably out for Charlton too.

Oh dear Gringo - it appears your bad feeling was right.

Nothing can change that...so all that's left to be said is - come on Heider, score a hat-trick!

Fair point Arkay, if that was a mare, then we are all guilty - this thread so seemed to make sense before the match

I'm not gonna be a tool about it lads, in fact i've never been happier to be proved wrong.
Though helger will never be my favourite player i thought he was much much better today than he was on Tuesday.
I still thought Rudy was better than him when he came on though

Heidar is past it but he is wholehearted and gives 100% and Malky likes him. He is not the best but has done his very best and when he moves on in May we will thank him and offer him our best wishes. Ditto Tommy, Cowie and a few others too.

I think your comments "Damn with faint praise".
Heidar is a class act at the end of his career; history will mark him as one of the differences which enabled us to get promotion this year. In the first half yesterday he gave an excellent display of the art of leading the line.
I agree that he will probably move on at the end of the season, but I don't think that is 100% nailed on; remember the QPR fans mid season who wished he was still there? I got a bad feeling..... 2294057153

His goal against Hull was one of the bravest I've seen, and that alone makes his contribution this season invaluable. And he's still our joint top scorer. I agree, one of the plus points this season that has made the difference.

He is too far gone to provide consistent goal scoring but he has undoubtedly helped us this year. Must have been a fantastic player a few years ago

He has undoubtedly played his part but has too often been called upon when other options were available.
