I was in a debate to with a guy from work and he said ther reason Cardiff doesnt play free flowing football is because our pitch is to small to do so & thats why Malky sets the team up to score as many goals as possible from set pieces.
Thought I would check it out.
Manchester City, The Etihad Stadium – 116.5 x 78 yards
Manchester United, Old Trafford 116 x 76 – 8816
Southampton Football Club, St Mary’s Stadium – 115 x 74.5 yards
Everton, Goodison Park – 112 x 78 yards
Stoke City, Britannia Stadium – 115 x 75 yards
West Bromwich Albion, The Hawthorns – 115 x 74 yards
Swansea City, Liberty Stadium, 115 x 74 yards
Arsenal, Emirates Stadium – 114 x 74 yards
Sunderland, Stadium of Light – 114 x 74 yards
Wigan Athletic, DW Stadium – 114 x 74 yards
Norwich City, Carrow Road, 114 x 74 yards
Reading, Madjeski Stadium, 111 x 76 yards
Aston Villa, Villa Park – 115 x 72 yards
Chelsea, Stamford Bridge – 113 x 74 yards
Fulham, Craven Cottage – 110 x 75 yards
Liverpool, Anfield – 110 x 75 yards
Queens Park Rangers, Loftus Road – 112 x 72 yards
Newcastle United, Sports Direct Arena – 110 x 73 yards
Tottenham Hotspur, White Hart Lane- 110 x 73
West Ham United, – 110 x 70 yards
Cardiff City, Cardiff City Stadium - 110 x 75 yards
Looking at this our pitch as big or bigger than some free flowing football teams in the prem so im sorry to say your full of sh*t mate

The new Wembley pitch is 115 x 75 yards so same width as CCS.
Seems bigger in 'real life' though.
Highbury was renowned as one of the smaller pitches around, but that didn't stop Wenger introducing an excellent passing game at Arsenal.
