Far better option than Taylor who was targetted and exposed in the second half on Saturday

Classy player who looked head and shoulders above anyone City had in the recent home game against Brighton. Bridge is exactly the sort of player we need should we get to the Promised Land.

A tad short term perhaps but he would definitely be an asset. We still need some invention in central midfield though as we have two plans when attacking:
1) hit it long and hope Gestede/Helguson wins it
2) hope we get a throw in

Gestede in the Premier League! Imagine the Hansen type analysis on MOTD?

Taylor is a very good left back IMO

I agree, but both Taylor & Bridge can play wide left midfield as well.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Bridge was converted into a left sided ball playing centre-back. Taylor is improving.

Taylor is so much better going forward than defensively, so I wouldn't be surprised if he played further forward and wide.

I think he's improved and there is a dearth of decent left-backs, so not sure if we would be looking to replace him now, maybe offer a rotation option instead. I'm not convinced about him as a left midfielder though and I can't see Malky playing with wingbacks so it's a difficult one

Even Taylor was good today!
