A man dressed as the caped crusader Batman has handed over a wanted man at a Bradford police station before disappearing into the night.




Police said the costumed crime-fighter marched the 27-year-old man into Trafalgar House Police Station in the early hours of 25 February.

The man was charged with handling stolen goods and fraud offences.

Police said: "The person who brought the man in was dressed in a full Batman outfit. His identity remains unknown."

The suspect will appear before Bradford magistrates on Friday, police said.

I know who he is, but I'm not saying...all I'm going to reveal is that he is very rich.

He could've at least bought the deluxe costume. It certainly would have flattered him more!

The police dressing up in superhero outfits would boost their popularity through the roof. Tell me seeing the Police escorts on away days dressed as Batman, Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and Thor wouldn't make your day infinitely better.

I lived in Leeds, which is next to Bradford. And they are both pretty rough. So Batman is probably aware that Gotham is safer than Yorkshire and is cleaning up the wrong area

Although the house move must have been expensive...his outfit appears somewhat more budget than it used to. Not a shred of Kevlar in sight on the CCTV footage you posted
