I once thought that... However the ensuing rectal surgery to remove said device learnt me one good and proper... Unfortunately for me it was an 80s mobile phone..... This sound a much better option... As long as the end of the jape doesn't involve my bottom....

It will actually give you distances...the guys face when he looked at his phone to find a photo of something revealing and a message saying "I'm 200 metres away" was priceless
