...and came up with a few players to fill our weakest area on the pitch.
Trash, spitballing is not the porn term you assume it to be.
Left back: Marcus Olsson at Blackburn
Centre back: Scott Dann at Blackburn
Right back: Jack Hunt at Huddersfield
Deep lying central midfield: not a clue
Winger: Bakary Sako at Wolves
Striker: Matej Vydra at Watford/Charlie Austin at Burnley
Sorry just had to put it down and then see who we get in the summer...

I thought it was one of those things management liked to get their staff to do as a team bonding exercise. I think i might be getting confused again.

Just spurtbulling... The art of surprising a bullock at dusk with a brief mini dousing and running off giggling like a girl... Apparently.....

I take very little notice of other teams so am not the best to offer an opinion on players to bring in. Austin seems a good choice - scoring lots of goals for an average team and Vydra seems to be a class act but i suspect the Pozzo's (owners of both Watford and Udinese) will be asking big bucks for him.
In general i think that if we go up Malky needs to look at getting a new spine to the team. Marshall has been great but will need some more serious competition and Prem level. A top center half probably playing alongside Hudson. A ball winning midfield general who will hopefully allow Whitts to concentrate on the more creative side of things. Finally a prem class forward. I am not writing off any of Campbell, Maynard, Bellamy or (whisper it quietly) Velinkonja as being an assett at prem level but forwards is the one area you want plenty of options and i think another striker could be accomodated.
I'm not saying other areas wont need looking at too but if we get a solid spine to the team then i think we have decent enough players already to play around them.

Well SteWells and I were talking at the pub earlier and I mentioned that Craig Gordon was released on a free by Sunderland at the end of last season. He's a keeper who cost £11million and was released due to injuries. Well why not sign him on a one year deal that automatically extends if he reaches a number of appearances? And the guy, at times, was awesome

It's a big shame for the guy but Craig Gordon will probably retire through injury. If we do get promoted I don't think we should be looking to build our team for next year from the Championship. It is very difficult to predict which players who excel just below the Premiership will cope with the step up. Better players are available abroad and earning far less than a Premier League team can offer. Although in contradiction to the above, I would like to see Sako join us.
