Oh you've missed some classic thread action.
Anyone able to piece together for Judge what the Lenwick thing was all about?
It happened over several threads. Trash - could you offer an overall picture of all the events surrounding the Lenwick Saga?

Lenwick was this real / imaginary Canadian fisherman / hunter style elderly gentleman who made a random brief appearance in which he alluded to his Welsh Grandmother... The following couple of weeks turned into part carcrash part mirthfest involving bogus Lenwick family posters.... we learnt about adventures in Greenland and Barry the Moose...Vinnie Tan's Tache was propositioned whilst masquerading as Lenwick's Nan.... Caldi wrote a brilliant song about Sir Lenwick... But in the grand scheme of things that didn't seem weird... Turns out Lenwick is real and has subsequently posted and now lurks keeping an eye on us all... It's complicated but very funny... And yes Lenwick is the board's official Leo Fortune West

Yeh worth a go. Is the idea to get other gamers involved who aren't Cardiff fans then??
Yes, although im not sure if anyone other than Cardiff fans would be interested in this site anyway.Caldi Blue wrote:Yeh worth a go. Is the idea to get other gamers involved who aren't Cardiff fans then??

I understand why it's been done, but if I'm honest I don't like how it's been done. The new section dwarfs the one I came to this site for, and makes it look virtually like an afterthought. I know you said it would be mainly a Cardiff fan forum with added elements, but have a look at how the front page looks. If you see it like me, the layout makes it look like a Cardiff branded videogame forum, with one little section for football talk.
So yeah, sorry Rhys, but in its current set up I'm definetely not a fan.

Oh. my. chuffing. God. We need an RBMB rebranding, rebranding forum....
I think I speak for our pressure group Fellow Users Keep Our Football First... the acronym could do with some work though... when I say this forum should remain steadfastly football orientated...
Also Rhys have you considered a video games section or a doobrie that turns your typing into a Littlewoods link...

You should see it now G-ster
Let me know if not!
I've bookmarked the main City forum so I didn't really notice any difference outside that.
Maybe we can recruit some computer forum fellas for our game of 5-a-side???

Thanks for the honest feedback Red Really appreciate it.
I agree - one of my concerns was that it looked a little overwhelming. I have now trimmed down the number of rooms to make it a bit more balanced.
Also - I have developed a 'filter system' in which you can remove from view the forums room you are not interested in.
Look at the side panel info.
Keep the feedback coming folk.
Trash - I have no idea why random things are being turned into littlewood links, I'm trialing a system but it's not meant to that I'm sure.

As I don't do computer games much, the new forums aren't of any great interest to me. However, if it means the football forum isn't cluttered up with games threads, I think it's a positive move!
By the way, my son is into Football Manager at the moment, and he mentioned to me yesterday that Velcro has some pretty darn good stats - should we buy Malky a copy of the game for Christmas?
