Gathering a following like a steam train on twitter. If tre, and it looks very likely, it's one of the most shocking things I've ever heard of in football. Heads will definetely roll.

Haha it is pretty long. Liverpool fan makes account posing to be a transfer agent posting Liverpool news. Is contacted by one if Liverpools directors directly and they meet. He announces they spent massive amounts of club money tracing him and finding out who he really was, and say he has cost them a lot of money. Threatens to ban him from the ground permenantly, destroy his fathers online business and encourage Liverpool fans to put excrement though his door, send him death threats and make his life hell.

Strewth... That's harsh... Just illustrates the dangers of unintended consequences to what should have been harmless behaviours

Haha no worries
It is definetely worth a full read if you have the time. There's lots more i didn't mention that just makes the whole thing more shocking. It makes it sound like Liverpool is ran by a mafia.

That whole thing just seems nuts. If there's any element of truth to what has happened then, absolutely, there should be outrage BUT I suspect it might be a case of Big Man vs Little Man and I don't think the Little Man will win.

Load of nonsense in my opinion.
If someone in such a professional manner threatens you in the manners he describes, you report them to the club and the police without hesitation and supply all emails.
He is an aspiring journalist and a known WUM. People should just ignore idiots like this and stop feeding their sick agendas.

To finalise this thread (In a smug 'I was right' manner ) -

Liverpool have officially apologised to the man behind Duncan Jenkins for the actions of their communications director. They have not denied the authenticity of any of the e-mails or any other evidence put forward in regards to the case, and have announced they are dealing with it internally.
