Great post mate, nicely written and a nice balance to it.

Nice read, but I will disagree only in that I believe that the red is here to stay.
The re-brand will work, we will go up this year and the Malaysians will be in for the long haul............

I understand your opinion and I believe that even if the Malaysians stay we will go back blue if we hit the big time. That's all dependent on us being successful enough that our fan base and interest in us increases by quite a considerable amount.
I think if the Malaysians stay we'll eventually go back blue, if they leave we'll go back blue anyway. I don't believe the red is here to stay for a considerable amount of time. i.e. 10+ years.

I don't think red is anything other than a marketing fad and has no degree of permanence but right now I don't care or think it matters and all that does is winning on the pitch - when that becomes a good habit and folk enjoy the games colours will fffffade away as someone once said TDA!
