lol...yes...could probably tone it down a bit on reflection...trying to a make statement but probably going a little to far....let me see what I can do!

Yes - we can actually post pictures on this mb....a few other handy upgrades too..like inserting videos directly from youtube and other sites...like this:

It's going to take some pretty serious Modding though to keep it on the straight and narrow. I'm assuming you'll be not allowing porn pics and stuff like that? I think Mike Morris once trialled having pics on the ccmb but everyone was posting nasty stuff on there.

Well if you tell me the dimensions that the header has to be then I'm sure I could knock up an image that less jarring than the big red bar.

Ahh...good point...I think I can work so only people over a certain number of posts (ie. like a 'regular' rank) can post images and videos. Also, when people sign up they have to agree to not sharing pornographic images...and I'll just have to keep an eye on it...alternatively, I can just turn it off?!

Nah, I wouldn't turn it off, it's what gives you the edge over the CCMB imo.

I'd keep the pics and vids but make sure you have enough mods to cover the daytime hours, not only to watch out for nasty pics and vids but php forums tend to get a fair amount of spammers if left unattended. I'd get the header changed because it's a bit off-putting, I'd even consider changing the text to blue (I once ran a php forum, I think that is an option?)

Have a look at Bristol City's forum, you can see it's predominantly red but it's not too much and the text is easier on the eye.
