My second attempt at a piece of rumour since Lovenkrands fell through. This one though is a complete shot in the dark.

Anyone able to read/translate that for us? From what I've discovered, it's a Japanese newspaper article detailing Cardiff City have registered interest, and maybe even made a bid, for Kim Bo-Kyung. Other people I've seen mentioning this also state Cardiff scouts were in South Korea looking into him.
I know nothing of this guy, and since I can't currently read the article (stuck on mobile), I don't even know how genuine a translation it is. But nonetheless, have a look.

Found another of the same story, slightly different. Apparently, within he claims he is negotiating with ourselves and Celtic, and has already rejected a contract from Monaco.

Hmmm.....it would be interesting if this happens. Good goalscoring record for a midfielder.
Not sure if he would be granted a work permit though.

Translated that original article in Chrome and it states that Cardiff have made a formal offer as his contract is up this summer
"Also representative of South Korea Kim Bogyon contract expires at the full season, that the formal offer has been received from Cardiff belonging to the (equivalent to section 2) England Championship"

Let's just hope some of the other teams in our division sign a few of the defenders from that video

Cerezo osaka played in germany in june against dortmund so no doubt malky must have gone out to watch him cos i have it on good authority that malky has been compiling a dossier on kyung since he was born!
Malky almost scrapped all plans to sign him when he heard that kyung wouldn't eat all his dinner when he was 6!

As I said I don't know a lot about him but I've looked into it, as some people have said he's a good goal scoring winger, not particularly fast but capable of a good cross and support of a line striker.
He is in goal.com's beat eleven players of Asia for June, and the South Korean coach has been quoted as saying 'he's the biggest talent the countries seen since Park Ji-Sung, and like for like he's a better player at the same age'. Park may now play for QPR, but he was once god enough for Manchester United starts remember.
On what I've found, he's a brilliant potential signing.

If we sign Alan Carvalho or a player similar to him, we will walk this league!

That's a bit of a random name to throw into the hat mate!
Have we shown any interest in him?

Doubt it, but he's perfectly suited to our style of play. I reckon SK Austria Salzburg (re-branded version) got him on the cheap too!
Somebody tweet that nice Mr Borley

We would have gone up last season if we'd signed him instead of Miller. He would slot straight into our 4-5-1 system, and we'd be f*%*ing deadly
