Been looking around a few forums and a few are saying they think this guy is quality . Have we under underestimate Kimbo? & should he be playing a hell of alot more than he has been so far this season?

Is Malky getting the best out of him?
Should he play a more central role to the team?

The problem is the handful of performances he's been outstanding have even balanced out by the appearances where he was lacklustre and wasteful with the ball at his feet. He's a tremendous talent but Malky has got this one right, he's not quite ready for regular football. He's growing fast and he will definetely be first team in the future, but at the moment this slow introduction is paying dividends.
If Velcro emerges as impressively as Kim has recently, Malky has really made us all look very silly critiscising him.

Velcro's goal for the reserves agin Brentford was arrogantly classy, but Ralls' strike was even better...........

Always thought he was class. I'm not just syaing that, but from the first time I saw him I could see he was more technically gifted than anyone else on the park.
Caldi = lEaAdeR
I think Malky has got it spot on. He is also very prudent with his money and signings (well, he IS Scottish) which makes me think the million he spunked on Velcro will pay dividends in the long run.

He was included in the team of the tournament for the Olympic football, which is a pretty good benchmark when some of the best young players in the world were taking part.
South Korea finished 3rd and their ability to retain possession of the ball is a key feature of Kimbo's game.
Deserves a starting place, but probably needs to play more centrally.

Certain players just seem more naturally suited to central midfield. People said it of Whitts before he made the swtich inside and have said it of Cowie (though a lot of people are more happy seeing him on the bench rather than playing wide or central).
Kim seems the same but it begs the question of whether the midfield could be effective with just Whitts and Kim in the middle. If someone like Gunnarsson was also needed for that extra bit of grit then we are back to looking at a 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 system to accomodate that.

Would love to see Kimbo in the centre but with Gunnars playing so well it must be hard for Malky to drop him tbf.
IMO Whitts should be dropped for a few games like Gunnars was just to try and get some form back because his form is falling away and the end of another season again,starts so brightly every season but always finishes very average.

Kim is establishing himself gradually as a key man. His close control of the ball at Blackpool was first class. Could become an outstanding signing
