It's.... Complicated.
I'm personally of the opinion it's rather icky turf to be celebrating the arrival of a player (an opposition one at that!) that took an advantage of a young drunk woman, regardless of what consent was offered and what the law states is required for a conviction. I beleive many feel not guilty means innocent, when that's not true at all for far too many rape cases - not guilty = insufficient evidence. At worst he's a rapist, at best he's not exactly the type of guy you want your daughter around.

Quite and not sure we should be applauding somebody for "not raping" somebody else as - y'know - that should be a given (a bit like condemning fascists who murder someone in your country, but that's a whole other thread).
Also, as far as I'm aware he doesn't have any discernible connection to Cardiff City apart from scoring two against us (including an absolute howitzer of a winning goal in the last minute) for Norwich about ten years ago.
All a bit weird.

He may not be the type you want your daughter around but much of his appeal was funded by his fiancé's wealthy father. Weird.

No doubt those who applauded were those who saw Malky as blameless and it was all just a bit of "laddish banter"
