I'm a little mystified as well. After his good season in Belgium, maybe the player wanted to be sure of first team football and NW felt that he could afford to let him go

Can't imagine he was on a big wage neither?! Strange one as I was hoping he would be given a chance maybe? So if we offload Fred does it mean we may need another striker?

Fred's nowhere to be seen so far, so I would guess that he will be history soon.
