Robbie Fowler effectively owns most of the North of England, he bought up every low cost home in run down areas, tarted them up and rented them out. He has a massive property portfolio now.
Leonne Jeanne tried a career in pharmaceuticals although according to Wales Online this seems to have been a less than successful venture

Funnily enough I was watching Taffs Well v Cardiff Met yesterday and Leon Jeanne was playing. Loads of skill but overweight and ran out of steam very quickly.

Before your time but Charlie Rutter who played for City and England B in the 1950's ran a pet stall upstairs in the central market for years afterwards.

Darcy Blake? I'd forgotten about him! He had promise but last I heard he was on a short term contract with Newport. He must only be about 30 and should still be playing at a high level. Didn't he have fitness issues?

Lifestyle issues! Talented player - he was actually playing rugby not long ago! He's only 28 now.
His career details make interesting reading -

This is definitely the strangest/ most upsetting of the lot. He is not the first player to go off the tracks (pun most definitely intended), but the speed of it was shocking.
Man of the match against England one year, and one of the best players under Speed, off to Palace the next, out of the sport completely a year or so later.

I'm sure Blake had his contract paid up by palace in excess of a million quid, and he's probably pissed it all away!

It was rumoured at one time that the late great Ronnie Bird had become a barber - probably prompted his own always-neat barnet.
He did go into the licenced trade and had a couple of pubs in the city and I think eventually went back to work for the club on the hospitality side.

Ronnie was mine host of the Romilly which was quite a nice pub.
As an aside, Roger Gibbins' wife was a hairdresser by day and a professional poker player by night!

Don Murray was one of the best centre backs I saw playing for City and was a real hardman before becoming a social worker.
