I haven't seen this posted before but if it has I apologise, im on my
Mobile therefore scouring everything is a pain.

But this 12/13 season, where do you are Cardiff coming?

My personal opinion is playoffs again. The squad needs time to strengthen fully even with a potentially large war chest, and the league is goin to be tougher than it has for a while this season thanks to some high profile names coming down to us. I see us snatching a playoff place but then having a pretty solid chance at them again.

It's going to be really tight at the top this season. I can see anything from 3rd to 12th being quite possible.

Depending on the Bellamy factor & with the kind of backing that Malky is getting, anything lower than automatic would be unacceptable to our Malaysian investors imo

I'm worried you are right Rhys. The problem is I think it's impossible with one season. Albeit wolves, blackburn and Bolton may well lose a large bulk of their first team, we're still faced with an large difference between the price of their first teams and our own. It will take a while to be able to bridge that gap, and even longer to get us alongside the European competitors they want us to face.

They have my full support, I just hope they can see some sense on this. To quote a cheesy line, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Too early to say. Depends on the new signings.
However with a quality target man, a couple of wingers and a speedy right back and automatic promotion is a distinct possibility.

Too many variables at this stage. Sure we need a few quality signings, and we don't yet know how the relegated teams are going to be affected by departures. My gut tells me this could be one of the closest championships yet. So my guess is anywhere in the top half, but I expect at least playoffs. And this time making a proper fist of it.

Relegation.

Therefore if we get promoted or stay up I cant be disappointed.

I think we'll finish in the play-off's.

I just don't see us signing enough players of sufficient quality to strengthen the squad and take us up in the auto places.

I hope I'm wrong though.

Honestly, I'd be worried about premier league survival of we did go up this year. As I said earlier the squad needs time, and I think Tan would be much more disappointed with promotion then immediate relegation than he would it taking us a few years.

Let's become a championship behemoth before entering the lions den, really
