Everybodies favourite, the Blue Tit, is a small passerine bird and easily recognised by its blue and yellow plumage. It prefers insect and spiders for its diet, but outside the breeding season they will eat seeds and other vegetable based foods.**match day thread** Cardiff City v Birmingham City 452175__pretty-blue-titmouse_p

As i said in the last match day thread, "we are on a roll."

birmingham city were founded in 1875 as the small heath alliance, finally becomingham city in 1943. their manager is gary rowett and we can expect them to wear their red away kit.

Cardiff will be without long-term absentees Joe Mason (hamstring), Ben Turner (ankle), Nicky Maynard (knee), and Anthony Pilkington (hamstring).

Striker Federico Macheda returns after suspension, while goalkeeper Simon Moore will continue to deputise in David Marshall's (groin) absence.

Birmingham midfielder Stephen Gleeson is available after suspension.
Striker Matt Green and defender Gavin Gunning remain on the sidelines with their respective knee injuries.

I flipped a coin, doesn't feel like Cardiff these days. Guy in work asked me who Cardiff was playing the weekend it took me a while to think of Birmingham, normally it rattles off straight away(no it's not an age thing)

Not up to Arkay's standard I know, but snapped in my garden this morning.

Here we have Dave's Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) and it's larger cousin the Great Tit (Parus sladus major). The Great Tit is distinguished from its blue relative, by virtue of its greater girth and the black cap it always displays when outdoors.

As has been mentioned before by others, it's been a long time time since we last had a season finish so early. We fans are not used to it. But this is what football is about - the bad times alongside the good.

In my mind there are still a lot of reasons to care about this season. Establishing some sort of form to kick start next year and building confidence are two good examples.

I'm hoping that we win tomorrow - definitely due one!

rhys, you are very right with regard to the remaining fixtures. that is why the connolly loan is so very wrong.

Would love to see City play with some of the passion Wales just showed against Italy. Caught by a late try which may let Ireland & England back into it, but what an effort.......... **match day thread** Cardiff City v Birmingham City 1525230823

Good result on the back of what sounds like a solid performance. At last!

Birmingham sounded awful. A real end of season nothing to play for performance.

Still, you have to beat what's in front of you and this seemed much better.
