For me this is a real shame, but Cala was a square peg in a round hole and this early resolution is probably the best outcome for everyone..

The whole episode has Tan written all over it...............

Judging by his previous tweets, written in what can be best described as broken English, I'm pretty sure "Tan Sri Vincent Tan" had a big part to play in what was posted.
Remember the days when those involved with Cardiff City could just leave gracefully without having to first post an apology?!

This is the problem with social media. It is far too easy for half-assed opinions/comments too be put in the public domain by uneducated oiks.
I blame reality tv as well!!

If you get to call people oiks, I get to call you a toff...
Seriously though, the social media argument is a complex one. On one hand the players are allowed their own identity and as long as they make clear their views are not nessecerily that of the clubs, then there shouldn't be a problem - it'd be like the NHS telling me I'm not allowed a Twitter account either. However, footballers do appear to be very stupid far too often, and they are also role models for the next generation.
