FC Zurich have launched criminal proceedings against Fc Aarau's Sandro Wieser after a 'tackle' has probably ended Gilles Yapi-Yapo s career. His injuries include torn anterior ligaments, cruciate ligaments, a torn meniscus, torn kneecap tendon and serous cartilage damage. Some say he might not even walk again.

Holy moly that is horrendous. I don't think legal proceedings are out of order as there is clear intent to harm.

Watching that video, it doesn't look as worse as the tackle on Ramsey all those years ago - still clearly as damaging.
Has there been any sort of reaction from the offending player?
