Haven't done one of these in a while and felt it was about time we pepped this place up a bit.
I know we've covered this before () but this thread will be covers of songs that you think are as good as - if not better than - the original. Starting with an oldie but a goodie...

Too true We could fill a thread up alone on Bob Dylan covers.
Yes, Toastie it's difficult as I know of about half a dozen covers of 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'. Only the Jose Gonzalez one is really worth the time though I think. I won't post it here but I'm sure you'll find it on youtube if you want.

Sorry Arkay. I admit i do have a penchant for the odd depressing track ( I did own a Leonard Cohen album on cassette once ) but i promise not to start any music threads based around that theme (however badly we are playing)
