Haven't done one of these in a while and felt it was about time we pepped this place up a bit.
I know we've covered this before (

I'm not a fan of Kate Bush - purely because her voice burns my ears like acid, so much prefer this moodier version...

Don't think it's better but certainly as good and apparently used to kill Lennon's voice to sing it.

I didn't realise this was a cover the first time i heard it but it has remained my favourite version.

I do like Tim Buckley's version because he has such a haunting voice BUT I think this is the definitive interpretation of this song

Now in all honest i love the Joy Division version of this so much that nothing was really going to match it. This comes damn close though managing to change the style while creating its own unsettling vibe.
