First topic message reminder :
If true, this is troubling on several fronts.
Firstly that Malky is racist and a pretty nasty character
Also, very messy how this has all come out as he looked certain to land the palace job.
What a big bloody mess.

Ah the whole 'I was only racist because I was stressed!' defence. I dont know about any of you, but I find humming to myself helps keep my mind together when im under pressure - sudden outbursts of racial abuse tend to have varying degrees of success
Maybe that could be an advertising campaign for some enterprising company.
"Have you felt stressed at work and begun to say or text racist abuse to friends and colleagues? Instead why not buy one of our Deluxe Stress Balls for only £49.99. It will be far cheaper in the long run. (Available in other colours than black)

I am guessing that the general thrust is that most of the incriminating texts were in the direction of Moody to Malky. The Mail and other reports have generally not specified who was sending the texts. However the Mail has identified the texts relating to Kimbo as coming from Malky. It is possible these are the two that Malky is admitting to.

Damage limitation by LMA for sure. It may well be that Malky was indulging in what he believed was "lads' banter", but he has misjudged his friends and betrayed his responsibilities as the manager of a top football club.
All a bit sad really.....

Despite the gallows humour around this you are right. It is kind of depressing how the club seems to manage to lurch from one crisis to another. I fear between this and the possible court action against Palace over Spygate that we are set for quite a bit more of this over the coming 12 months.
All i hope is that in the short(ish) term this dies down as a story. It would be nice to think that by the time football resumes after the international break that most people will be concentrating on what is happening on the field and not off it.

After now reading and finding out that Malky was Racists to players and made more than just one email and text and continued to do so, I have No intentions of anymore sticking up For Malky and I would rather now not discuss him again, in fact he makes me feel sick.
and......
Mac, after reading much more in to Malky's vile stuff,That's it for me with him.
and......
Thanks and It is beyond belief how bad Malky was.
Still getting an absolute panning though. I think some people are doubting his sincerity..........
After reading into this more, he has changed his stance? I thought he was 'in the know' and was aware (along with Carl Curtis) of all of this in the first place? So he has changed his mind because no-one is backing him, rather than because he disagrees with what Malky has done? Or is he admitting he isn't 'in the know'?
Please, please, please go onto AAMB and point this out...
If only I had an account...and I don't like the idea of entering my information over there!

If the texts were mainly coming from Moody, Tan would be aiming at least some of his anger towards him, wouldn't he?
Moody's been left to get on with things, including getting the job at Palace.

I don't think that is quite right. The texts were discovered through a search of Moody's home in the first place. By that time Moody already had the Palace job. I think Tan suspected once this became public that he wouldn't hold onto that position anyway - which is what has happened.

Yeah, I've just read a bit more about it. Apparently Malky's only 'admitting' to having sent two of the messages? I'm not sure if he's said anything about the accusations from Farah yet?
I've also just seen that the LMA have apologised for suggesting it was all just a bit of banter in their original statement. Bit of a farce really!

Well it is ludicrous that a professional organisation can suggest that implying Asian's require large amounts of dogs for sustenance is mere banter. If they aren't careful the LMA won't come out of this well either. I'm unsure if Farah's comments on twitter have been picked up by the mainstream media though? Or Jon Parkin's?
What did Parkin say?
Club have now asked for Richard Bevan's head in light of yesterday's statement. On this whole matter, it might be the first time I've agreed with the club's approach and intentions...ever. Turns out, pigs can fly.

Yes I agree Arkay, the club isn't doing anything wrong. Parkin, straight after the allegations came out said "that's karma ey [sic]". Gives you an impression of what it may have been like at the club
