Apparently he's been released on a free transfer- Arkay will be gutted.
On the same theme, there's an interesting poll on WalesOnline wherr you can vote on who stays and who goes. Top of the stays is Craig Noone and top of the goes is Kenwyne Jones.

Ill admit it, I wish we kept Conway and never bothered with Zaha. 1% ability and 99% effort is better than 99% ability but 1% effort afterall.

I am chilled out on holiday and won't be thinking about Red's agonising death until next week.

He who disrespects Craig Conway must pay the ultimate price.

But my dear Cyncoed, you don't realise that only being 1% ability doesn't automatically mean you are a worse player than a guy with 99% ability. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Gareth bale are probably only about 50% ability too...

I actually thought Tommy Smith was pretty good, he was just getting too old to sustain his performance levels.

In fairness, his first half season with us at Championship level was half decent. He's an intelligent, experienced player who linked up play quite well but as you rightly stated, ran out of steam in the end.
He has got the brunt of my ire but actually it is not his fault, my beef lies with Malky/Kerslake in keeping him on this season, choosing him over Conway (and by God we could've used his energy in the latter part of the season) and then never, ever using him. Not even to fill up bench spaces. What the hell was the point? He should've been told "so long and thanks for all the fish" at the end of last season.

Yeah this. It is a bit of a joke really.
That's the problem with all our current strikers (apart from Jones)
Lots of effort but not blessed with lots of ability. Surely a top priorty will be find a striker with bags of composure and eye for the goal. A chopra in his prime if you will.
I'm just grateful that we loaned Mason instead of selling him
