No Medel, no Mutch, no Bellamy............three of our most influencial players in recent weeks
City really need to win this one, but unless OGS has worked some magic since last Saturday, I just can't see it. Hull are a decent side and in Tom Huddlestone, they have got exactly the sort of player that will outplay City's midfield every day of the week.
He should have been a Bluebird.....

Hope we win, just cant see it
Yes a win and we have picked an okay haul of 7 points out of an available 12 - just shy of 2 points a game.
My line-up is slightly different to yours TDA - KT has been a bit dodge for me and perhaps Cala will step in for Medal.
Marshall
Fabio Caulker Turner Taylor
Cala
Noone Daehli Zaha
Campbell Jones
I could see scraping a win, mind you, I've said that about every game this season...I think I am biased.

I've going for something a little more innovative, but something I feel is our best chance of achieving results...

Have Marshall up top with Marshall just playing off him.
Then I'd have Marshall, Marshall, Marshall, Marshall and Marshall on the bench to give us options too.

Are you forgetting Marshall hasn't scored this season? Daehli in for Marshall up front and it's a decent looking side.

The team will be missing a leader desperately with Bellamy/Medel out.
Hull play 3 in defence I think, so City have to keep their wing-backs pinned in their own half. Hopefully Zaha/Noone can do this effectively.
Gunnarsson has to play really but faces a hell of a lot of running around.
Lose/draw = down

Rumours around this morning that Jordon Mutch might be fit, which would be a big boost.
There are reasons to be optimistic.
If we win today and Sunderland lose (away to Arsenal) and West Brom draw with Fulham, we will be joined 16th with only (as it stands) 3 points to 10th.
Also, the west brom game is a win-win no matter the result.

It'll be interesting to see how we approach this game. Normally we're pretty poor without Medel.
