Wonder what tactical gem our leader will pull out of the bag tonight?

I don't expect many survivors who started Sunday's debacle.........Manga & Malone, Ameobi perhaps starting up front with Watt.

I wouldn't be surprised if Slade turned the clock back and shored up the defence and sacrificed the little flair we have shown at times, but I hope not.

The pitch will be better than CCS for sure.

I have a feeling that City will get something out of this game

Was trying to listen to commentary on City Player, but the commentators are not at the game. They are watching a live feed at CCS. Absolutely hopeless, so have switched to Tigers' Player and listening to two extremely partisan Hull commentators. Presently giving Manga some stick for his performance against Shrewsbury.

0 - 2 down now. Can't see Slade surviving if this stays the same and we lose at Wolves.

The opta stats are particularly damning - not a single completed pass by a Cardiff player in the Hull penalty area.

The worst thing though? I don't really care...**Official Match Day Thread - Hull v City** 3392635135

Steve Bruce; a manager with some genuine talent; had an easy job here. As TDA said he saw our starting XI coming a mile off but he would of also seen our tactics and our substitutions clear as day.

Yet Slade still thinks he can take this team into the top 6. We're 7 points behind now and that's a difficult margin at this point in the season for any team, lets line one ran so incompetently. The spade is just digging in (get it? coat) waiting for the inevitable axe and a big payday.

If he does get sacked he will only get paid till end of season... He was brought in on a rolling contract... Seems as though tan learned not to bring managers in on 3/4 year contracts...

It's interesting this morning to read Allardyce's comments on last night's thoroughly enjoyable defeat for the JB's. He said that although they were facing 10 men, they were nevertheless 2-1 down at half time and under a lot of pressure. Consequently he decided to change tactics and play a high pressing game which they don't normally do away from home. HE CHANGED TACTICS AT HALF TIME?! - Is this what proper managers do??
p.s. Red - you appear to have forgotten that making dreadful jokes is my responsibility on this board.
