I am afraid that, like may other supporters, you are missing the point of the board's statement.
It was Malky's incompetence in the transfer market last summer that has led to the failure to build a squad capable of competing in the PL. That will probably cost the club £50m in lost tv revenue for each season they take to get promoted again. The other figures you mention are insignificant in comparison.
The Cornelius affair is the most easily explained, but, as you know, there were a number of other substandard deals done.
It's all very well pointing to Malky's successes in the market, but they were achieved at Championship level and nobody disputes that he did a great job in getting the club promoted.
The statement was necessary for the future financial stability of the club and I don't think has anything to do with a dispute with the former manager. The shareholders, quite rightly, were not happy and more transparency was needed to restore their confidence in the board and make the club more attractive to future investment.

Excellent article gloves. I won't argue any further as I'd be repeating myself.

Is it too hard to believe I'm making an effort to not annoy people as much?
