Transfer Deadline Rumours

I thought it might be a good idea to consolidate all the crap between now and Friday in one rumour thread.
The Cornelius move now seems to be a certainty but others floating around today are:-
Ladbrokes say we want Ross McCormack.
TalkShite say we have joined Liverpool in the Tom Ince auction.
Rob Phillips (Radio Wales) thinks we will try to get a striker and a centre back in by Friday.
Simon Moore to go on loan to Bristol City for the season.
Nyland coming to us from Molde.
Blackburn interested in Conway.
Joe Mason to leave.
Fabio and Zaha to be confirmed this evening (yawn)

Joe Mason has gone back on loan to Bolton, confirmed in the last hour. Seems OGS doesn't think he's ready yet, but isn't quite confident enough to get rid of him permenately.

Kevin McNaughton has not gone back on loan, with OGS turning it down. He obviously likes him.

Shearer is to come out of retirement until June for us

Fabio signing was confirmed by OGS after the Man U game, so he is already at CCS. Apparently he had offers from abroad but wanted to remain in GB as all his family are currently living here. OGS joked that Rafael had asked him to make sure he looked after his big brother.(Fabio having been born a few minutes before Rafael)    What price Rafa joining at the end of the season?

We are rumoured to be in talks with Hamburg midfielder Tomas Rincon.

Sky Sports are now saying that a fee has been agreed and he is flying in for talks and a medical.
Venezuelan international but another defensive midfielder?

Makes sense to me, it's cover for Medel and means we can play a double pivot with Medel and Rincon in the team, allowing the wingers and striker more freedom

I think that is his Hamburg number.....

Fabio Quagliarella, a striker who plays for Juve and has been capped 25 times and scored 6 goals for Italy is expected to join City on loan until the end of the season. Good move if he does!
