I'm not saying Malky is better than Solskjaer, but look at this side by side -

Malky
-rebuilt the club from scratch
-Took us to Wembley
-won the championship title

Solskjaer
-beat a reduced strength Newcastle team in the. 3rd round of a cup

To suddenly think Malky is crap in comparison is pretty damn unfair. He had his flaws, tactically most definetely, but he should have our respect for what he did for us.

Agree what he did for us can never be forgotten, but he took us as far as he could. When your relationship with your boss breaks down it's time to move on. OGS can now take us to the next level (hopefully)

of course he re-built a team from scratch, but with loads of money thrown at it
yes we did win the title - on crutches and limping over the line
yes of course ogs beat a reduced strength newcastle team - with a reduced strength cardiff team

other statistics to consider
ogs has never been sacked - mackay has
mackay has only won a second division title - ogs has won league and cup

It's always about the future and the present, never the past. That's why OGS is important and must be supported and Malky is no longer to be coveted. It's also the reason the red shirts are not an issue to me
