Just about to set off, this will be my third visit to stoke in six days, the least they can do is give me three points for my efforts. My first ever away game in 1967 two ex wives from Stoke and a fifteen year old son who still lives there, the place is like an Albatross around my bloody neck.

I bought a reconditioned Sky HD box in Stoke on my last visit to the UK.......very friendly people in that town......I had to stop and ask for directions about 12 times........perhaps I should have bought a sat nav instead?

I've only driven through the place, never stopped. Like I say, it's got to be better than Leeds...

Both our kids went to university in Leeds, know it quite well.
Owned a property there at the time that turned out to be next door but two to the 7/7 bomb factory (true story) ......could tell a few other tales, as well....but like you say, generally a sh*t-hole........

My first visit to Stoke last night - got to say the accent surprised me... it was full on scouse (the people we were chatting to at least)!
