I'll be there so I hope so. I'm mildly optimistic.

I thought we were going to get battered at Southampton, after the shocker against Palace, but OGS seems to have found an effective formation. I hope he resists the temptation to change much.
A few thoughts......
Cala must play. He is too good a footballer not to be starting.
The midfield core of Daehli, Medel & Whitts is right. They don't give the ball away and provide a degree of control. This allows Mutch to get forward and support the attack. Medel obviously wasn't fully fit against Southampton and I think the first half performance reflected that.
I don't know what to make of Fabio. He is obviously a talented footballer, but so many errors. Hopefully that can be coached out of him. Maybe start SuperKev at LB.
Kimbo still appears lightweight and disappointing. I expected more from him this season. I think I would stick with him against Stoke, although Gunnarsson or even Fabio in midfield might be alternatives.
Stoke strike me as a very ordinary side and I think we could have won up there. If teh momentum is there after Saturday, then, yes, City can beat them.
I just hope the spectre of Odemthingy doesn't come back to bite us on the backside.

Good summary. Fabio is a strange player who looks a decent attacking midfield player but has always been picked at full back. Can't work him out at all.
Yes, nice assessment TDA but my gut instinct is that we will lose on Saturday. The result last week is typical City - giving us stupid hope before crushing our dreams. I also fear it is too little too late as realistically we need to get six points from our next three games to have even the slimmest chance.
I just don't see that happening and I think Stoke will win comfortably to all but seal our fate.

I had a dream last night that Jones played against Stoke and he was as bad as he's been in every other game. My last City dream was Friday night when I dreamt we would lose 3-1 to Southampton having taken the lead.
I dream about Cardiff too much.

Ooh kinky.
I think we could scrape out a win although I say that about every match so don't trust me.
Last time I had a dream about cardiff was before . Hull game and we all remember how that worked out.

on another note whenever you have been positive we have lost so maybe you feeling the way you are we might win this one

Possibly Tache, normally I'm a glass half full man try and see the best in everyone. I won't put a bet on Cardiff just in case I might jinx them...So if Cardiff do win I will gladly predict defeats for the rest of the games :bounce:
