From City's point of view it is a good result as it keeps Hull within touching distance. Of course, if we can pick up points more regularly ourselves, thenwe shouldn't have to worry about what the others are doing.....

I completely agree with TDA. All we need to worry about is what we're doing. Especially this early in the season.

And for what it's worth, I think we're doing well.

i just thought that a palace victory, plus a new manager, plus off the foot of the table may give them a lift up.

Fulham's loss will put martin jol under real pressure. a sacking?

Sunderland at the bottom. what will this do for them?

just thought a debate around the implications may be worth it. whatever it is.

Like the most of us, I'm sure we all look for positives in every result, though sometimes it is hard.
You know the sort of thing, when your relegation or promotion rivals win a game eight nil, and you make out It's good because they must be tired after that much effort, or it will make them complacent, sometimes it's the only way left to deal with it.does the crystal palace victory............ 692773407

Depends what you see as a success this season. If surviving relegation by the skin of our teeth is the goal then we want Palace, Sunderland, Norwich and Fulham to drop every point they possibly can, and it was a bad result.

But if we want a midtable finish then Hull losing is good, it makes overtaking them an easier task.
