Hey guys!! Going to the palace game! I live in central London so don't know Croydon that well where's everyone drinking to Saturday?

I wish I could but sadly I can't! I'm ooop north this weekend (stupidly bad planning on my part) so will miss the match. 
I lived in Penge for about two years (which is about 10 mins by bus from Selhurst Park) but whenever I went drinking it was usually in Central London. The only place I ever used to visit was a pub called the Bridge House Tavern, which is a cracking (if pricey place) gastro pub right next to Penge West station (and about five ins walk from Penge East station). You could easily jump on a bus on the high street direct to Selhurst Park. As for pubs near the ground, I tended to avoid them as the area is a bit s**t frankly. The only one I ever went to is now closed down!
Oh and avoid Croydon after dark if you can help it! Things lurk in the shadows...
