As I said, the performance was the most important today. I thought City could have pressed up on Swansea more in the first half, but when they had the confidence to do so in the second half, what a difference it made. Although Dave probably won't agree, Gunnarsson for Mutch was a badly needed change.....not one of Mutch's most influencial games.
Come on Malky.......you've got a very capable squad there, please let them play!
The changes today were spot on. I said elsewhere, this is a 14 a side game now and Campbell for Odemthingy injected fresh legs and energy which scared the (very ordinary) Swansea defence to death.
