Tan in bust up with the city squad!
Page 1 of 1 • Share
Allegedly the players have fallen out with tan and have asked him to be banned from the dressing room because he had refused to give them an end of season bonus - after the players complaining, he finally relented but the pot is smaller than last seasons apparently. What a tight ass!

If true - way to go tan! That's it, piss of our squad, that'll ensure they work hard to avoid relegation!
What a complete and utter dumbo!

Tan indeed doesn't have a clue, but this also highlights that our squad are, to be blunt, money grabbing c***s.
I am lucky to earn in a year what they earn in a week but I contribute to saving lives in the NHS as opposed to kick a football around - where's my seven figure bonus?
Also, from a more footballing basis - why are we discussing bonuses after only a month? If I was in charge of the team your bonus would depend on your performances - you can expect a bigger bonus if we stay up as opposed to being relegated. I wouldn't be arranging a deal after 6 games . Poor showing in the teams behalf here, not Tans.
Yes. You heard it right, I just defended Vincent Tan.

As the article says the bonus is not written into the contract its normally common practice or a gesture of goodwill on clubs behalf so therefore tan didnt have to pay, BUT.....I can c were the players are coming from they get promotion and no bonuses were gonna b paid out, I think I would b a bit pissed off to be honest,

They already had their bonuses for last season, they are now arguing for bonuses for this current season despite the fact it's only a month old.Vinnie Tans Tache wrote:As the article says the bonus is not written into the contract its normally common practice or a gesture of goodwill on clubs behalf so therefore tan didnt have to pay, BUT.....I can c were the players are coming from they get promotion and no bonuses were gonna b paid out, I think I would b a bit pissed off to be honest,
The thing is, it is standard practice in football for end of season bonus and for tan to come along and just say it's stopping is not really fair. However, I also agree that they are paid fairly decent salary as it is - problem for us is that other teams will offer bonuses - let's hope we don't lose anyone because of it.

I know what my bosses reaction would be if two weeks after starting as a manager I start demanding bonuses, put it that way.
If you put it cynically, it's a coincidence everyone is demanding high bonuses in the lead up to the January window, isn't it?

Red you are so right. Where do the money grabbing, greedy gits think the money is coming from to pay them bonuses, when they haven't even completed a season in the Premier League. Everyone else in society is having to tighten their belts and go without wage increases or accept miserly awards of 1% as our NHS workers are doing, and overpaid prima donnas just want to grab more and more. It just goes to show that modern footballers have no idea what we fans have to go through just to be able to afford tickets to watch them play. If they think they are worth more then put them on performance related pay and watch some of them screaming when they look into empty pay packets.
