Blackpool FC staff have taken to twitter to declare the story is completely made up - he was training with the squad in Portugal this morning as usual. Tom Ince isn't there though, hint hint.

No actually denying the story, but he seems happy enough.......

Chairman is reluctant to spend any money. Can see them being around mid-table this season. On the topic of The Championship (remember that league?!) I can see Birmingham facing the drop this year also.

Perhaps Ince is the best they can hope for
Blackpool in the sun is pretty grim. Blackpool without the sun is bloody awful.......

Haven't seen much comment about Leicester since the end of the season. I wonder where they go from here?

Speaking of Birmingham there are rumours we want Redmond as well as Ince. If Birmingham don't bring in some players they will be in trouble.
Ince has also been given until the end of tomorrow to decide on a City move or we will go elsewhere.

Horrible, horrible place.
I'd tip Blackpool as one of the relegation favourites for next season, although, that could be wishful thinking on my part.

Is Blackpool worse than Swindon? Or Leeds?

Nothing wrong with Leeds......a bit grim in places, but a cracking place to be a student!

Indeed, I spent a hugely enjoyable four years there doing studenty things in the late 70s. North Leeds was mostly OK - I lived for two years in a small country house which was used at that time as a hall of residence (mainly sporty types) on the outskirts on the way to Otley, it was great fun. South Leeds was, as you say, a bit grimmer.TDA wrote:Nothing wrong with Leeds......a bit grim in places, but a cracking place to be a student!
Swindon is certainly as grim but the citizens of Blackpool make Swindonians look like highly educated Royalty by comparison.
As TDA and Tonks said, Leeds is alright. Bradford is far worse.
