Andreas Cornelius from FC Copenhagen. Announced just now on the facebook page. 20 year old striker who scored 18 goals in his first year last season. Everton wanted him for £5m last month apparently

He's six foot 4! Malky has finally realised that a target man probably should be tall! Rejoice!

Massive signing, he's a big, physical, clinical goalscorer. May I remind everyone that last summer I posted on this very site that Cornelius would be a dream signing...?

on the assumption that it all goes through i think it puts a very big question mark over the reported interest in kuyt and maybe gomis?

Gomis won't happen now, I think he was messing us around with terms and waiting for a bigger club. His loss. Kuyt could still be a possibility as he is more likely to play as a very advanced right winger or inside forward than a striker.

With my ability on Football Manager thrown into the mix I could definitely get a job in the Uzbek national league

aye no chance for gomis, if at all ever. would love to see kuyt in a city shirt but probably just lazy journalism paper talk or made up by that other forum... talking of which did everyone see carl's update on cornelius.... oh wait...
haha cracking league, no top 4 in that one, wide open every season

Yeah Pakhtakor Tashkent FK might be a tricky one as they won the league last year so I might be stretching it there, but Nasaf Qarshi FK are a team I'd like to be involved with.
I'm hoping that the signing of such a highly rated and prodigious talent will spark some other signings, such as Ince and Wanyama.

Well, that was right out of left field and a typical signing of the Malky era.....speculate on whoever you like, but be prepared for something that was below the radar.........Well Done City......

This is why I'm not worried about all these rumours. If you're a player and you mess Malky & Tan around, they will simply sign someone who wants to be part of this. I half expect Wanyama to go the same was as Gomis and we will announce a different but pleasing midfield signing instead.
