First topic message reminder :

According to Malky - yes.

I know im likely to be a lone voice on this, but here goes...

I have to say that I rate him quite highly but I wouldn't have said he was the best in the championship. Yes he had the most clean sheets sheets and the least amount of goal scored against him, but doesn't that say more about our defence than just the gk?

Don't get me wrong, he made some match saving saves on a regular basis, with sometimes only being called on to make one or two saves a game - but can he deal with the quality onslaught on his goal that he will see this coming season?

I would give him a go at least and see where we are in Jan.

Spoken to him a few times whilst I was in uni, he was doing some sport coaching course & working with the City's youngsters while I was doing Sport Management. Always seemed a decent guy. Very very good keeper as well.

Likewise I had the opportunity to chat to him a few times during uni - wish him all the best with the Wurzels!
